EQUIPMENT HIRE

Although
there is nothing that can beat a professionally set up and run disco with
one of our top quality DJs, there are occasions when this may not suit
you. If you want to hire just one or two lights, a set of speakers,
already have a DJ, want an evening of Karaoke for a house party, or simply
fancy having a go yourself, then we offer the opportunity to hire all the
equipment you need.
Our equipment is relatively simple to use and is supplied in good
condition with all necessary connecting and power leads (but not mains
extension cables) and clamps for lighting. It is regularly maintained and
checked for electrical safety (PAT tested). We offer a basic explanation
of how it works when collected or delivered and online links to
instruction manuals and video demonstrations are supplied beneath the
relevant item (where available).
Although we endeavour to supply the item described whenever possible, we
reserve the right to supply alternative equipment of an equal or greater
specification if unavailable. We do have other equipment available,
generally speaking at the higher end of the spectrum notably with regards
to conventional lighting and PA, so if there is something that you need
but don’t see listed, please contact us.
We offer basic packages and all the individual components separately to
enable you to hire just what you want or to add on special lighting or
special effects to those basic packages. If you are unsure of what will
suit best, we are happy to advise you on what will best suit your needs.
 
 

Items are priced on a daily, weekend or weekly rental basis. Daily rentals
run from midday on the day of hire until midday the following day, Monday
to Saturday. Items hired on a Saturday must be returned no later than
midday on the Monday for a single day hire. Weekend hire (2 days) run from
midday on Friday until midday Monday. We require a security deposit of
approximately twice the daily rental value of every item. A non-refundable
booking fee of 25% is payable upon booking equipment, but this is credited
against the total cost of the rental. Full payment and the security
deposit is due on collection or delivery when paid by cash. However, if
payment is to be made by cheque, full payment (including the security
deposit) must be received no later than 14 days in advance of rental date
to allow for cheque clearance. We can also accept payment by PayPal, but
any such transactions are subject to a 4% surcharge to cover PayPal
charges.
Security deposits will be returned in full (assuming that the equipment is
returned in the condition it was originally supplied) by the same method
as originally paid.

If you don’t have the
time to collect and return the equipment yourself, don’t have transport
large enough or are worried about the technical issues in setting it up,
we offer a service, where we will drop off and collect the rented
equipment from the venue of your choice. We can also set it up for you,
optimised to the surroundings.
The charge for local delivery and collection within a 10 mile radius of
Sevenoaks is £20; for locations more than 10 miles away, we charge an
additional 40p per mile. If you also wish us to set it up as well as
deliver it and then take it down after the event, the initial price is £45
(including local delivery) for one of our all inclusive kits. Additional
items ordered in excess of the basic set-up are charged at £3 per item
(except Star cloths which are £7.50).
